The sand-water separator is suitable for sand removal in sedimentation tanks at municipal sewage treatment plants. It is primarily used in conjunction with cyclone sedimentation tanks, sand removal machines, or bridge-type suction sand collectors to further process the discharged sand-water mixture.
· The drive system employs shaft-mounted parallel-shaft helical gear reducers, featuring compact structure and smooth, safe operation;
· Recovery rate for particles larger than 0.2mm reaches up to 96% after separation;
· U-shaped troughs are lined with wear-resistant liners, ensuring long service life and easy replacement;
· Fully enclosed operation maintains favorable environmental conditions. Frame secured with expansion bolts, eliminating the need for embedded anchors.
This equipment employs a shaftless screw mechanism. The sand-water mixture is fed into the separator from the top. Gravel settles by gravity within the sand-water separation trough. The rotation of the shaftless screw gradually pushes the gravel along a 25% U-shaped trough toward the outlet. The gravel then falls into a receiving cylinder for external transport. Separated water overflows from the separation trough outlet, improving the operating environment and facilitating external transport.
